2013-14 GC Theology of Ordination Study Committee
The official documents of the main Theology of Ordination Study Committee (TOSC) will be released here.
- The Committee will vote some consensus statements and these will be released. They represent consensus positions of the Committee itself –– they are not official statements by the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
- TOSC will consider a number of research papers. In the case of papers that have been approved for release by the TOSC steering committee, the authors will have an opportunity to make revisions in light of comments during the meeting; their papers will then be released, and can be found in the sections devoted to each meeting of the Committee: January 2013, July 2013, January 2014, and June 2014.
- In some cases, the Committee will request substantial revision of the papers. The initial papers, as presented to TOSC meetings, and the revisions, will be released in the section "Papers revised and resubmitted".
- Finally, in some cases, papers will be commissioned by the TOSC steering group, but will not be presented at one of the four meetings. These will be found in the final section.
