On July 19, 1973, the General Conference Committee voted to establish an ad hoc committee on the role of women in the church. Just under two months later, on September 16-20, 1973, the 25 members of Role of Women in the Church Study Committee (10 men and 15 women) met at Camp Mohaven in Danville, Ohio. The documents in this section are the papers that were commissioned for and presented at this historic gathering.
